"Inspiration - Transpiration"

When an artist is inspired, what will then unfold,
Is the transpiration, some from depths untold.
There are many sources of an artist's inspiration,
But little can compare from the heart, a transpiration.
-
When the artist's heart is raptured either pro or con,
Emotion engraves its mark within as well upon.
Very often the expression may swing extreme,
Laced with passion, boundless is the theme.

Oppression, an opponent, drains the fertile flask,

Taxes the creative mind, depression is the mask.

Boundaries have no place, for thoughts are then confined.
Freedom is essential within an artist's mind.

"Valentine Greeting Bittersweet"

The bouquet of roses in their fancy vase,
Their mild scent released as I touch one to my face.
Adorned with baby's breath for a special touch,
Beautiful they are. I thank him very much.

The chocolate heart cradled in its box of crimson red,
Beckons me to taste it and savour without dread.
Its sweetness is wonderful, velvety smooth,
If it could only wipe away and soothe,
The tears deep inside, the ache that's always there,
Free my torn up heart and magically repair.

Sitting atop the mantle, a card specially designed,
With eloquent words of passion, sincerely signed.
To say the perfect meaning, carefully chosen text,
Fulfillment is expected, gratitude follows next.
But in all its beauty, the greeting only burns,
A deeper sense of passion in my heart it yearns.

My thoughts are in transition, although thy self is here.
My dreams serve as transport to place me close and near

"My Valentine Forever"

Every year about this time, we'd walk down memory lane.
For each year we'd made new ones, but this year is not the same.
Another year's gone by, 'tis true. Soon it will be spring.
This year will be different, though, for I'm missing what you bring.

The long summer nights, we've cherished every one.
We'd walk. We'd talk by many a setting sun.
Wishful thoughts we'd ponder,
Golden dreams of wonder.
We were living some.
Others, yet, to come.

Christmas joy again we shared, for then we didn't know,
What was coming forth upon us besides the winter snow.
Our new year came in, like so many times before.
We made our resolutions, but this year maybe more.

We lived our lives in love each day ready to embark.
Perhaps, it's best to relish the light while walking in the dark.

Although alone, now, your love comes from afar,
My Valentine I miss you as I look upon your star.
Our memories warm my heart, ward off any chill.

My Mother's strife is over now. She is blessed with Holy peace.
The Lord has called her home with Him, thus ending all her hardships, cease.
My blessed Mother, I love and I miss you so.
Your light within my lonely heart will forever glow.
Your life here will be honoured, remembered and praised
By so many more than just the young you raised.
You always thought of others first, while you were left with none.
So many took for granted all that you have so gladly done.
Your sorrows are all washed away now. Mom, you will no longer need to weep.
God's love cradles you with gentleness. No more mountains face you steep.
I'll try to walk along your path. My focus will always be
To enter in the House of God, 'til your face I again shall see.
This world is cruel and heartless, Mom. It is filled with the greedy and unkind,
Including some you loved so dear. Oh, Mom, it's hard to stay so far behind.
Your love I've always felt and it always saw me through,
Each and every painful moment I've been subjected to.
I'm standing on this stairway, which I'll do my best to climb,
Because I know what waits for me 'til the end of time.
If I could fly a kite, that would bring me up to you,

As daylight prevails, consumed by tasks entwined,

   My thoughts perceived through logic, guide my mind.
   The depths of my soul, the true passion within,
   Though evident, if challenged, unlikely will win.
   But as the daylight lessens, eventually waning,
   The tide thus changes, therefore gaining,
   Is the secret and guarded desires on hold,
   For whom from sealed lips never gets told.
   As the mind of logic at last, succumbs to sleep,

   With little time lost, pursuit commences

That goes with the heart others do not see,

"Photographs..."

I found my self wandering in among some photographs,
When I came across some, but they did not bring me laughs.
I've seen them several times before,
But they had never knocked upon my heart's door.
I usually never click to enlarge, to capture
The essence of the heart, in deep profound stature.
Today was different though, I decided to make the click
In an epitome of despair, my heart skipped a tick.
Disheartened from the sadness, as I looked upon a face,
A face with a smile, forlornness did en grace.
The eyes sought my attention, begged for a closer look.
I looked into the heart, beyond the cover of his book.
An overwhelming sense brought tears to my eyes,
There seemed to be a pleading for me to recognize.
As the tears rolled down my saddened face,
I knew inside this soul, there was a very empty place.
I placed my fingertips upon the cheeks, the tender lips caressed,
How I longed to touch mine to his, my feelings were undressed.
Though a capture of the flesh, a photograph gives
A mere, poor substitute of the soul within that lives.

What happened with my guestbook really sucks! I haven't the foggiest clue how to make a spreadsheet. So, I have to figure out some kind of alternative, if I'd like to still maintain communication with my site's visitor's, which I very much do...

This was placed in my guestbook:
"We are very sorry for the sudden loss of the original comment board. The host/server blocked our account with the comment board and messages. The alternative (see below) uses google docs (spreadsheet) as server, so you can manage your own messages.

To make this comment board work properly, you should read the tutorial at this webpage (http://sites.google.com/site/ecgadgets/add-to-google-site-or-blog)."

Where's the fellow that knows how to make comment boxes expand when you type in them? ;)
