"A Day For Dad!"

  A day for Dad?
  Why, of course!
  Afterall, he deserves it,
  'Cause he's indeed a source.
  Of the flood within my brain
  Of many memories not all the same.
  So many moments together shared.
  The times and places we have been.
  Mostly good ones, I must say.
  "Hey, Dad, remember when...
  An injured bird changed our mission
  On a day that we went fishin'?
  The time my bike chain broke
  And I got so full of grease?
  Or the day we went to get my horse,
  'Cause my begging wouldn't cease?"
  Just a couple mentions of which I cherish dearly.
  Dad, our reminiscing, I look forward to, yearly!
  Happy Father's Day!
